The watch brand unveils an elegant design enhancement of its three-handed travel watch, which continues to pursue the sporty spirit that the collection has embraced for over 50 years now.

Since 1963, the name Carrera has embodied the motor-racing spirit. This iconic watch began its career as a chronograph. As the 21st century dawned, TAG Heuer showcased three-handed versions including a model boasting a GMT function that stood out through its excellent time data readability. The brand new Carrera Twin-Time Date 41 mm reiterates this particularity to better center stage the display of its second time zone on its sunray-brushed satin-polished azure-hued dial. The traditional baton-style duo of hands dedicated to ticking over the hours and minutes is now complemented by a fine hand tipped with a red-lacquered-outlined triangle filled with Super-LumiNova®. A quick glance is all it takes for the watch owner to know what time it is back in their homeland and in the country they’re actually in. In addition to a highly-accurate minute tracker and indexes set off with luminescent material, the ensemble is encircled by a flange adorned with a blue and silver two-tone 24-hour scale. And, the square date aperture reigns at 6 o’clock.

This selfwinding movement, beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations an hour, delivers a power reserve of some 50 hours. The sapphire-crystal caseback invites to admire the mechanism’s workings and the rose gold-colored oscillating weight.
