CONSTANT TOING-AND-FROING
The brand brings an elegant sporty-looking watch back centerstage that can specify the immutable cycle of tides of around 12 hours.

Display tides. Few brands have mastered the art of this complication. TAG Heuer achieved this feat during the 1950s. Over the following decade, an upgrade combined the practical function for sailors and fishermen with a chronograph. This piece became the source of inspiration for the new 2026 Carrera Seafarer vintage. Its dial features the counters dedicated to measuring short-cycle time. A disc nestling at 9 o’clock and split into four quadrants alternately decorated with the words High and Low whirls round at a regular pace, i.e. that of the ebb and flow of the seas and oceans. To make sure it is accurate, the display must be synchronized with solar time and with the tide times that correspond to the date and the wearer’s geographical location. A few repeated taps on the Tide pusher, opposite the crown, is all it takes to set it.
Selfwinding Caliber TH20-04 reigns inside the 42 mm-diameter steel case and delivers a power reserve of over three days. This holder, waterproof to depths of 100 meters, also protects a subtle scenography, highlighting the Intrepid Teal hue, a green shade that conjures up that of the deck of the Intrepid yacht, which won the America’s Cup in 1967. This tone contrasts with the champagne dial and guarantees optimal readability of the counters and 18K 3N yellow-gold hour and minute hands topped with aquatic-feeling blue-green Super-LumiNova®. What else!
