This edition limited to just 50 pieces shows the brand’s innovation ability with its awesomely-accurate fine-watchmaking movement.

Like the Monaco Flyback Chronograph, the new Carrera Chrono Tourbillon Extreme TH-Carbonspring incorporates TAG Heuer‘s latest cutting-edge breakthrough in its TH20-61 caliber, a state-of-the-art oscillator presented as “ultra-light, shock-resistant, and anti-magnetic”. What’s more, its presence ensures high-performance timekeeping even in the toughest conditions. These results were acknowledged by the COSC which awarded its certificate to the watch’s selfwinding movement. This outstanding device, which delivers a power reserve of 65 hours, comes equipped with a 1-minute tourbillon and drives the hour and minute hand rotations. It also lets the wearer measure short-cycle time to a ¼ of a second.
This avant-garde architecture is combined with a fantastically up-to-the-minute holder. The 44 mm-diameter case, waterproof to depths of 100 meters, is crafted in sandblasted forged carbon. To create seamless stylistic harmony, the dial takes on the same random patterns as the composite material. In this gradient-hued gray scenography, time data is ever-so easy to read thanks to the ad hoc use of Super-LumiNova® paint. Its application to the hands and markers infuse a wonderful contrast that means the wearer can read everything off at a glance. The Carrera’s sporty personality is expressed through this piece’s sleek silhouette. Every single detail reflects TAG Heuer‘s DNA. In a nutshell, the Carrera Chrono Tourbillon Extreme TH-Carbonspring blends strong character and top-of-the-range performance.
