CALATRAVA 6007G Patek Philippe

CALATRAVA 6007G Patek Philippe

RACY SPIRIT

The manufacture whisks one of its iconic models off to an up-to-the-minute, sporty world. Here, style reiterates the limited 6007A series but takes on a modern-day twist. A great success!

During the 2023 edition of Watches & Wonders, Patek Philippe showcased its ranges in a pretty judicious way. The manufacture also headed off the beaten tracks by playing with sporty-chic codes center-staged in three novel Calatrava 6007G references. The trio shares the same ebony-black dial boasting a checkered pattern conjuring up the carbon one of racing cars. This decorative touch is perfectly replicated on the calfskin strap. All three are crafted around an elegant 40 mm-diameter, 9.17 mm-thick white gold case, waterproof to depths of 30 meters. And, what’s more, they all flaunt snazzy-looking time-data display scenography achieved through a three different vibrant colors.

In a nutshell, a dash of sunny yellow dresses the 6007G-001’s direct-drive, indexes and minute tracker, as well as its strap’s stitching and lining. A racy red stands out on the 6007G-010. An attractive sky blue reigns on these same elements on the 6007G-011 model. And, as the hour chapter numerals and hour and minute hand duos are set off with Super-LumiNova®, reading is optimal no matter the light. This highly-graphic trilogy is driven by the 26-330 S C caliber (with 35 to 45 hours of power reserve). This selfwinding movement also breathes life into the date display at 3 o’clock and comes with a stop-seconds system for setting time precisely. The sapphire-crystal caseback invites to discover the yellow gold oscillating weight stamped with the can’t-do-without Calatrava Cross with its four stylized fleurs de lys.
