SUPEROCEAN HERITAGE ’57 OUTERKNOWN
Your surfboard’s ready and waxed? You’ve got your gear on? Breitling accompanies you with a timepiece boasting great eco-friendly personality that stands out in the water and on land.
A Beach Boys and surf session atmosphere for the third inspiration, fruit of the collaboration between Breitling and the sustainable clothing brand created by surfing legend, Kelly Slater! This 42 mm-diameter watch, waterproof to depths of 100 meters, is proposed in two versions to match your personality best. And, no matter if it’s in steel or a mix of steel and red gold, the Superocean Heritage ’57 Outerknown embodies the easygoing style specific to board sports with its super-vintage design. To set off this cool look even more, the case and its impressive concave rotating bezel, encircled by a ceramic ring, are topped by a domed sapphire crystal. The ensemble is complemented by a brown-colored strap, fashioned by Outerknown in ECONYL®, a material made from nylon scraps.
Dial-side, essential time data is incredibly easy to read. The bronze-crafted hour and minute hands, covered with Super-LumiNova® hover over a highly-graphical hour chapter comprising indexes and a minute tracker.
Its Breitling 10 caliber (42 hours of power reserve) features a bidirectional winding device. Its timekeeping accuracy is COSC-certified (Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute). To be issued this label, the movement underwent a series of tests in five positions and three different temperatures, 8°, 23° and 38° C, for 15 days. At the end of the stringent testing, the average daily time variation was -4 to +6 seconds.
Price: CHF4,200 (steel) – CHF5,050 (steel and red gold)
