With these two limited editions rolled out this spring, the Nyon watchmaker dresses up its iconic watch, which has just celebrated its 20th anniversary, with a brand new, super soft color.
Given its great knack for taming the colors of state-of-the-art materials, Hublot is forever enhancing its ceramic’s chromatic expressions. As such, the Big Bang Unico now takes on a magnificent mint green hue. Two variations are jazzed up with this fabulously-fresh springtime adornment. One boasts a 42 mm-diameter case, water-resistant to depths of 100 meters. Its openworked dial hosts the classical time data scenography inherent to the chronographs in the collection. Caliber MHUB1280, assembled using some 380 components, including a column wheel, energizes the Super-LumiNova®-coated hour and minute hands, as well as the date integrated in the 30-minute counter. This high-performing selfwinding movement, with a power reserve of 72 hours, stands out through its ability to measure short-cycle times swiftly thanks to its flyback function.
The second iteration, the Big Bang Unico One Click, flaunts a resolutely more feminine personality. Its 33 mm-diameter case is topped with a bezel strewn with 36 diamonds totaling around 0.76 carats. Its selfwinding caliber (40 hours’ autonomy) brings the indispensable pair of hands and 3 o’clock-set date to life. Here, time is more precious than ever. These two chic ‘n’ sporty Big Bang Unico Mint Green pieces are worn on a textured rubber strap attached by a titanium folding clasp that can be easily changed for an optional wraparound with the One click system. In a nutshell, versatile style’s now the name of the game.
