The Big Bang Unico, the centerpiece of Hublot‘s collections, is unveiled in a new guise with the Essential Grey version. In addition to its ubiquitous gray color, this series sets itself apart by the way it is marketed. You won’t find it in any boutique, as it is only available on the watchmaker’s online store. In just a few clicks, the future owners, regardless of their location anywhere on the planet, will be able to acquire one of the chronographs endowed with a satin-finished titanium case measuring 42mm in diameter, water-resistant to a depth of 100 meters, topped with a bezel machined from the same light and robust material. Following the example of the other references of the collection, we find the traditional presentation of the time data positioned on an openworked dial, dressed here with a rhodium plating.
The display of the hours, minutes, date, and time measurements are driven by the HUB1280 caliber. This powerful self-winding movement is composed of 354 individual parts and has a generous 72-hour power reserve. The Big Bang Unico Essential Grey watch comes with two wristbands that can be easily interchanged using the One Click system. The first is made of rubber, the second is made of fabric with a Velcro® closure. In keeping with the tone of the collection, this duo is also adorned in a color close to the case for a perfect match. For an unequivocal look, though not without a nuance… of gray, naturally!
