BIG BANG SANG BLEU II WHITE Hublot

BIG BANG SANG BLEU II WHITE Hublot

SCULPTURESQUE!

Following on from their black and blue versions, the watchmakers from Nyon propose a variation dressed in luminous white which sets off the play on depth of this timepiece featuring a powerful personality.

Sang bleu. AKA blue blood… the name isn’t a nod to French royalty but to a prestigious magazine launched by Swiss tattoo artist and Creative Director Maxime Plescia-Büchi. His partnership with Hublot breathed life into one of the most amazing watches in the brand’s collections back in 2016. Three years on and the model flaunts its ambition by playing an ever more disruptive card center-staging three-dimensional geometrical scenography and boasting a chronograph complication: Big Bang Sang Bleu II White. The 45 mm-diameter case and its multifaceted hexagonal bezel protect a dial which is literally laceworked. The hands, two lozenges and an arrow, twirl around this openworked-profiled scenescape. Likewise, entwined lines ensure the small seconds and totalizer stand out from the bi-compax-positioned chronograph.

The HUB1240 caliber beats at a rhythm of 28,800 vibrations an hour and delivers a power reserve of 72 hours. The oscillating weight, crafted in line with the dial, invites to be admired through the sapphire-crystal caseback.

This mighty duo shares a common thread as white reigns supreme dial-side. This pure tone highlights the case’s alternating polished and satin-brushed finished surfaces. The Big Bang Sang Bleu II White is worn on a white and black rubber strap attached by a folding clasp.
