A STROLL THROUGH TIME
The watchmaker born in Le Locle is reinventing the classic watch with a series of seven new steel models available in two diameters to mark the passing of the hours with elegance.

The first version of the Ballade was launched in 1994, a timeless piece inspired by a 1950s Tissot model, featuring a polished steel case and a sleek dial. Revised in 2016 in an automatic version, it is undergoing a major facelift this year to adapt to current desires and needs. Thus, 2025 marks a new milestone in the history of this collection with the presentation of the Tissot Ballade COSC, a series certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute, comprising seven references in two sizes: four in 39mm diameter and three in 30mm.
The cases are machined from steel and topped with a delicately fluted bezel whose geometric shape echoes the knurled surface of the crown and, above all, the pleating that covers the dial, available in silver, azure, navy blue, or emerald. Like a precious ribbon encircling the dial, adorning the applied Roman numerals and descending onto the central link of the bracelet, a yellow or rose gold PVD coats two of these seven Ballade COSC watches. Controlling the trio of central hours, minutes, and seconds, as well as the date displayed in black on a white background in a window at 3 o’clock, are two self-winding movements equipped with a patented NivachronTM balance spring: the Powermatic 80, which provides 80 hours of power reserve for the 39mm diameter version, and the Powermatic 48, which delivers two days of stored energy for the 30mm diameter version.
