ALPINER EXTREME AUTOMATIC Alpina

ALPINER EXTREME AUTOMATIC Alpina

FROM THE MOUNTAIN TOP TO THE WRIST

A reworked design, a look of urban adventurer, a readable display in any circumstances, a reliable engine and a lot of comfort on the wrist: here is the latest product from the watch brand symbolized by the famous red triangle.

The Alps, the fresh air to breathe in, the snow-covered flora and the slopes to ski down with a smile, all these elements form the natural playground of the Alpiner born about two decades ago. Redesigned in 2022, the Alpina watch has retained the sporty look that has made it so successful, but it has also adapted to urban codes. The new Alpiner Extreme Automatic is equally at home on a mountain top or in a city setting, and this versatility coupled with an affordable price makes it extremely attractive.

Housing the AL-525 caliber that beats at a standard frequency of 4hz and delivers a 38-hour power reserve, the cushion-shaped steel case with dimensions ideal for most wrists (41×42.5mm for 11.50 thick), water-resistant to 200m, features a large bezel secured by six triangular-headed screws, an elongated reinforcement on the right side and two lateral posts to protect the textured rubber-coated crown.

The dial, in navy blue, olive green or deep black, is lined with tiny triangles on which rest applied hour markers and the duo of central hour and minute hands, all rhodium-plated and luminescent. A second hand with the Alpina logo in red varnish on the counterweight and a date displayed in white on a dark background at 3 o’clock complete the time data. The Alpiner Extreme Automatic is worn on a rubber strap decorated with a checkerboard pattern in relief that matches the color of the dial and fitted with a steel folding clasp.
