THE ESSENCE OF SPORTY ELEGANCE
This flagship piece from the manufacture gets a titanium makeover. It’s light, sturdy and super stylish! Meaning: it’s sure to become a must-have.

Cape Cod, well-known vacation destination north of New York, forever inspires. A place that brings Edward Hopper’s paintings to mind. But, it also conjures up the collection Hermès launched back in 1991. The watch, brought to life by the talented Henri d’Origny, tampers with the rules of geometry. Here, a square dial reigns inside a rectangular case and the design extends out, reminiscent of a link in an anchor chain. This summer, the Parisian brand invites us to broaden our horizons with this upgrade flaunting a satin-brushed titanium case (33 x 41 x 10.36 mm), waterproof to depths of 100 meters. The material’s intrinsic shades of gray gift this variation with a resolutely sporty personality. This feeling is heightened even more by the layered, textured time data scenography. A central surface boasting a sandblasted finish contrasts with the satin-brushed hour chapter. The Arabic numerals on top, with their one-of-a-kind typeface, are coated with Super-LumiNova®, as are the baton-shape hands. The orange direct-drive adds a dash of dazzle to this monochrome backdrop.

The discreet date at 6 o’clock and the hands are driven by Caliber H1912. This selfwinding movement, beating at 28,800 vibrations an hour, offers the watch at least 45 hours of autonomy. The Cape Cod Titanium comes complete with a choice of an abyss blue, black, Naples yellow, or orange leather strap. Whether you go for a warm or cool hue, this timepiece will definitely be a great summertime locker-room friend.
