FORMULA 1 SOLARGRAPH PASTEL TAG Heuer

AS SUMMER COMES AROUND

With these limited series, the racing spirit takes on novel hues to best cater to the tastes of young generations who adore bold styles yet are also avid high-tech fans.

In 2025, TAG Heuer gave its sporty watches, rolled out in the 80s, a fresh new look. The first nine iterations of the Formula 1 Solargraph combine a 38 mm-diameter case, waterproof to depths of 100 meters and a large stylized bidirectional rotating bezel featuring a 5-minute-increment graduated scale. Some references come with a steel holder, others a colored alternative made with a light but sturdy polymer, TH-Polylight. All are driven by a new quartz caliber, the TH50-00 that’s not powered by a standard battery but by a solar one with a 15-year lifespan, charged up using the sun’s rays. In less than 40 hours under the light, the watch stores enough energy to run for ten months continuously.

The brand has also released unprecedented Formula 1 Solargraph pieces. These versions, totally dressed in beige, pink or blue, center stage wonderfully-delicate pastel shades. The hour and minute hands along with the large hour-chapter markers on their lacquered dial are amazingly-quick to read thanks to green-glowing white Super-LumiNova®. Two other options in green or lavender stand out with their satin-brushed cases enhanced with an integrated metal bracelet. They’re also set apart with their eight diamonds sparkling on their hour chapter. No matter what you choose to wear with them, it must be summery attire!
