BIG BANG RELOADED Hublot

BIG BANG RELOADED Hublot

TRANSFORMING AN ICON

Fresh from the workshops of the Nyon manufacture, this new generation of watches showcases the architectural power of a unique aesthetic combined with high-tech materials.

During Watches and Wonders week in Geneva, Hublot chose to beef up its iconic model, presenting a series of Big Bang Reloaded watches, an evolution that seeks not a break with tradition but an intensification of its legacy. Five models, five patents, one shared goal: to further push the spectacular DNA of the LVMH Group brand based in Nyon.

All these new models feature the HUB 1280 Unico in-house caliber, an automatic flyback chronograph movement beating at the standard frequency of 4hz and offering a 72-hour power reserve when fully wound. All housed in a bold case measuring 44mm in diameter and 14.50mm thick, available in Magic Gold—a scratch-resistant 18-carat gold alloy—titanium, or black, blue, and green ceramic.

But beyond the technical aspects, it is the visual impact that captivates. The familiar silhouette of the Big Bang appears to have been sharpened. The two-part bezel immediately draws the eye: its polished frame features an insert that is sometimes tone-on-tone, sometimes contrasting, accentuating the graphic tension of the whole. More structured, more dynamic, the watch gains in presence without losing its legibility. The openworked dial, the collection’s signature, also reaches a new milestone. Deeper and more ethereal, it evokes a true mechanical ecosystem, a fascinating showcase of its movement, where each component seems to float in mid-air. With this Reloaded version,  Hublot isn’t rewriting the history of the BigBang but injecting it with adrenaline.
