A TRANSPARENT AGENDA

Both impressive for its wrist-worn calendar functions and sculptural with its openworked mechanics reminiscent of a kinetic work of art, this watch, born in Le Brassus, offers a breathtaking view of time.

It sits proudly on the desk, often as thick as a telephone directory, crammed with brightly colored sticky notes that seem to want to escape and dog-eared pages filled with appointments and reminders of all kinds. For more than a decade, this large notebook has been supplanted by smartphones and their virtual calendars… And yet, little by little, we are returning to the nobility of paper, turning to more virtuous, more prestigious solutions, created by human hands, such as the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Perpetual Calendar Openworked watch. A masterpiece of watchmaking mechanics, aesthetics, and ergonomics, this new model allows you to manage all aspects of time and benefits from the all-crown correction system unveiled in 2025 for Audemars Piguet‘s 150th anniversary.

Housed in a case combining white gold (bezel and case back) and black ceramic (case middle and crown) and measuring 41mm in diameter and 10.6mm in height, the Calibre 7139 is the skeletonized version of the Calibre 7138 introduced last year. This automatic movement, beating at the standard frequency of 4hz, delivers a power reserve of 55 hours when fully wound. On the sapphire crystal dial punctuated with smoked counters that allow light to filter through, the openworked mechanism animates the perpetual calendar function and thus displays, in addition to the classic time functions in the center, the day (at 9 o’clock), the date (at 12 o’clock), the week (on the flange), the months and leap years (at 3 o’clock), the 24-hour indicator, and the moon phase and sky in black aventurine glass (at 6 o’clock).
