VERSATILE AND ELEGANT
The winged-hourglass brand adds a piece to its catalog that’s equipped with a high-performing, elaborate movement and set off with the warm hues of its case’s precious metal.

Through its Master Collection, Longines presents watches that combine horological tradition and timeless classic style. The new Master Collection Chronograph Moonphase which comes with a 42 mm-diameter, 14.40 mm-thick rose gold case, complemented by a brown alligator strap, is no exception to this rule. Its dial is embellished with a delicate barleycorn pattern. A host of data, all optimally readable, reign on this harmonious scenography.
The hour chapter comprises elegant Arabic numerals and is fringed by a 60-seconds scale that runs round the flange. Measured short-cycle times are displayed in dedicated counters at 12 and 6 o’clock, and by the blue direct-drive. A column wheel ensures the activation of the different function triggered using pushers.
Two square-shaped apertures feature the day and the month, whilst the date is ticked past by a central hand that hovers over the scale encircling the outer edge of the dial disc. A small seconds and a 24-hour display are set at 9 o’clock. The composition is completed by lunar cycles. All the data is accurately driven by Caliber L687.5, which beats at 28,800 vibrations an hour. Even though the watch boasts a myriad of functions, this selfwinding movement supplies it with a comfortable power reserve of 66 hours. What’s more, to emphasize the Master Collection Chronograph Moonphase‘s fine-watchmaking personality, its 5N rose gold oscillating weight is unveiled through the sapphire-crystal back.
