RM 07-01 Richard Mille

A SWARM OF DIAMONDS

Like a shower of precious stars lighting up the vastness of the night with their fire, diamonds sparkle across three new women’s timepieces from the watchmaker based in Les Breuleux, in the canton of Jura.

The diamond is an immaculate mineral with a thousand meanings, but above all it’s a symbol of love, a messenger of emotions that conveys the strength of a commitment. Its dazzling beauty makes it an absolute master in the heart of gemology, and, alone or accompanied, it illuminates everything it touches. Richard Mille boldly arranges it in a cloud that is as graphic as it is poetic, composed of stones of various sizes and calibers, on three versions of its very feminine RM 07-01 watch.

The common feature of this trio with strong personalities is the CRMA2 caliber nestled in the iconic tonneau-shaped case in white gold or TPT® carbon. This 4hz mechanical movement with bidirectional automatic winding via a variable-geometry rotor, whose plate and bridges are made of grade 5 titanium, delivers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours and drives the central hour and minute display.

On Richard Mille‘s Starry Night model from the Intergalactique  collection, the 181 brilliant-cut diamonds set in red gold claws in a seemingly random pattern form a sparkling swarm that awakens and invades the TPT® carbon of the bezel and dial. The different sizes of the stones add rhythm to the whole and evoke the beauty of a sky full of stars. One of the RM 07-01 variants in white gold is covered with baguette-cut diamonds that enliven the anthracite hue of the openworked platinum, reminiscent of an avant-garde sculpture, while the snow setting used on the second piece spreads across the links of the curb chain bracelet.
