OVERSEAS PERPETUAL CALENDAR ULTRA-THIN Vacheron Constantin

BURGUNDY FLAMBOYANCE

The Geneva-based manufacture has chosen a warm wine-red hue with mysterious undertones, symbolizing both gentleness and tenacity, to style the mechanical calendar displayed on the face of this new model.

With the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin watch, having all the information you need for your personal and professional organization at your fingertips from morning to night, without having to take a small notebook out of your bag or pocket or check a paper calendar hanging on the wall, becomes second nature. This Vacheron Constantin model allows you to wear everything you need to navigate through time on your wrist.

Embracing the spirit of the fast-approaching fall and its flamboyant color palette, the dial is adorned with a warm and mysterious burgundy hue. In addition to the hours and minutes displayed in the center, the spectacular face features useful displays distributed across three azure counters for the perpetual calendar (day at 9 o’clock, date at 3 o’clock, month and leap year at 12 o’clock) and a window at 6 o’clock for the moon phase. The whole is framed by a graduated flange with 5-minute segments marked in sky blue, as are the months of January, April, July, and October in one of the subdials.

For this new model, whose excellence is recognized by the Hallmark of Geneva (Poinçon de Genève), the functions are powered by the caliber 1120 QP/1, an automatic manufacture movement that beats at a gentle frequency of 2.5 Hz and provides a power reserve of approximately 40 hours when fully wound. This mechanism is housed in a white gold case measuring 41.5mm in diameter and 8.10mm thick, water-resistant to 50m, with a transparent case back offering a clear view of the sunburst pattern on the oscillating weight.
