MONACO CHRONOGRAPH STOPWATCH TAG Heuer

MONACO CHRONOGRAPH STOPWATCH TAG Heuer

PASSION FOR SPORT

With this collector edition, the brand shrewdly mixes up-to-the-minute materials and yesteryear stylistics and rolls out a piece with a resolutely timeless personality.

No matter how well we know it, it continues to surprise us. Since it was launched back in 1969, TAG Heuer‘s Monaco chronograph has always been sporty, daring and forever at the cutting edge. Its look continues to defy codes, in particular with its crown set opposite its pushers. The 39 mm square case, in keeping with its taste for rupture, constantly offers the dial a never-ending artistic playground. The new Monaco Chronograph Stopwatch reasserts this radical personality with a bold style inspired by the dynamic scenography of Heuer hand-held stopwatches used back in the 60s to measure performances during motor races.

In short, the black center of the silvered dial is encircled by a red minute tracker. On top of the composition’s graphical powerfulness, everything contrasts perfectly, ensuring the data, driven by the legendary Caliber 11, is ever-so easy to read: the Super-LumiNova®-topped hour and minute hands, the red lacquered direct-drive, the minute counter at 9 o’clock, the small seconds at 3, and the date at 6. Here, the selfwinding movement is protected by a sandblast-finished grade 2 titanium case, waterproof to depths of 100 meters. The sapphire-crystal back invites to admire the decorated oscillating weight. To enhance the sporty look of this timeless piece even more, this precious casket comes complete with a perforated black calfskin strap attached by a secure folding clasp. This edition stands out with its design where every feature is geared to efficiency.
