A GREAT GETAWAY
The independent manufacture continues to upgrade its latest range with a piece that’s both practical and stylish, perfect for those who love to roam and straddle time zones.

With its 1902 collection unveiled in 2025, Schwarz Etienne offers a highly-original, elegant alternative to classic watches. Its travel-focused model asserts this ever-so understated design through two variations where the GMT complication is always optimally legible. A one-of-a-kind scenography contributes to this result. Here, original and local hour hands don’t whirl round in 12 hours, but 24 hours. The duo hovers over a peripheral ring, PVD-coated blue for the clay-hued dial version, lacquered white for the azure one. Arabic numerals alternate with polished cabochons, which structures reading and paces the classy visual momentum. This multi-level architecture plays on light and textures. A railway minute tracker, dotted with red, highlights the rim and adds a dash of character.
The 39 mm-diameter grade 5 titanium case reigns with its harmonious dimensions. This holder, waterproof to depths of 50 m, hosts a polished bezel, satin-brushed lugs, and gleaming flanks that offer a subtle array of finishes. The automatic ASE 320.00, beating at the heart of this piece, developed and assembled in-house, drives all the data meticulously. Its micro-rotor incorporates ball bearing imagined in Schwarz Etienne workshops, which guarantees optimal winding and a comfortable 86-hour power reserve to the 1902 GMT.
