867 Small Tuxedo
New York’s 867 Madison Avenue is a late 19th century architectural gem. It was renovated by designer Ralph Lauren in 1983 and houses some of his menswear collections. This iconic store inspired the name of a watch collection in which you’ll find the Small Tuxedo. The tuxedo is a dress suit for men whose blazer and trousers are trimmed with satin. The 27.5×27.5mm rose gold case blends geometric shapes: the watch’s square case unfolds with two semicircular lugs. The off-white lacquered dial bears a heavily structured hour rim with Arabic and Roman numerals and a minute track all in black. Two Breguet-style hands track the hours and minutes from the centre. The functions and 40-hour power reserve are brought to life by the manual wind RL430 calibre made by Piaget for Ralph Lauren. Price: 22,100 CHF
