PIERRE DEROCHE – TNT GMT RÉSERVE DE MARCHE 43
CARVED OUT FOR ADVENTURE
To make it easy to handle different time zones, Pierre DeRoche has released a traveller’s watch that is both practical and attractive with its GMT function.
Is your suitcase packed? Your passport ready? And which watch are you going to wear on your wrist? To help you out during overseas trips, the TNT GMT Réserve de Marche 43 is the ideal timepiece to take in at a glance both the local time in the country you are visiting and the time in your home town, thanks to a second 24-hour time zone. Pierre DeRoche also had the good idea of adding a power reserve indicator to guarantee the sound operation of the mechanism. The date, meanwhile, can be read on the chapter ring via a discreet central hand.
For this new model, Pierre DeRoche has left behind the skeleton dials characterising the TNT collection in favour of opaque dials. The result? The GMT Réserve de Marche 43 highlights contrasts with its elegant black DLC steel case (43mm wide) and its highly simple sand-coloured dial. All the time information is very easy to read, while the watch looks extremely attractive on the wrist. It is ideally suited to your more casual look. And for a more discreet option to go with a business suit, Pierre DeRoche has released a version combining a titanium case with a black anthracite dial.
The precise mechanism of the watch, which is watertight down to 100m, is driven by a self-winding calibre made by Dubois Dépraz and providing 42 hours of power reserve. The second time zone can be set very simply using a monopusher. The GMT Réserve de marche 43 comes in a limited edition of 201 pieces.
