CONQUEST V.H.P. LEATHER
PERFORMANCE DEDICATED TO ELEGANCE
The watchmaker from Saint-Imier is expanding its robust, high-precision quartz watch collection with six variations now worn on comfortable leather straps.
In 2017, the sporty Conquest V.H.P. watch collection by Longines came for our wrists with stainless steel or rubber straps. The sober dial is designed for easy reading. The hour ring on the 3-hand version with the date at 3 o’clock has large indexes with super-sized 6 and 12 indicators, all coated with Super-LumiNova®. A second scale is on the flange.
For all the new versions, the 41-mm and 43-mm stainless steel cases have a silver, black or blue face, as luminous as usual. The first model comes with a brown leather strap and, for the other two, the straps are color-coordinated with the dial. They all fasten with a folding clasp. Sporty at heart, the Conquest V.H.P. has increased versatility and elegance.
This timepiece is powered by an ETA quartz movement developed especially for Longines. The acronym V.H.P., for Very High Precision, highlights the caliber’s amazing precision with a variation of just +/- 5 seconds a year. The presence of the GPD (Gear Position Detection) system makes it possible to reset the hands after an impact or exposure to a magnetic field to ensure the time display’s precision. Furthermore, the movement orchestrates a perpetual calendar whose dates automatically count the length of the months and leap years until the year 2399. Its long-life battery has a guaranteed 4-year lifetime.
