LAURENT FERRIER – Galet Square Boréal
Laurent Ferrier – Galet Square Boréal
Who hasn’t dreamt of seeing the Northern Lights, the phenomenon that lights up the night sky with electric green and blue? Has Laurent Ferrier seen the mystic and intriguing sight? Maybe that’s why he wanted to capture the Aurora Borealis on the dial of the Galet Square Boréal. We don’t have the answers but the magic is certainly here.
The black jade dial is adorned by the “sector” hour rim inspired by the 1930s which glows with green Super-LumiNova®. Its shape is reminiscent of a stylised sunrise beneath two arrow-shape hour and minute hands rimmed with green Super-LumiNova®. The subtle blue small seconds at 6 and minute track on the edge of the dial are highlighted by slate grey tracing.
The self-winding FBN 229.01 calibre powers the functions in the cushion-shape steel case.
