CLASSIC FUSION AEROFUSION CHRONOGRAPH SPECIAL EDITION ‘BOUTIQUE MONACO’
Red and white adorn this Hublot-signed limited edition. And, not without reason! These hues, chosen by the Grimaldi family in the 14th century, also feature on Monaco’s flag.
Place de Casino epitomizes the vibrant heart of Monaco. This highly-modern, fanned-out esplanade is surrounded by illustrious Belle Époque buildings. One of them, the Hôtel de Paris, hosts Hublot’s boutique, opened just a year ago. The brand celebrates the first anniversary of existence of this refined Monégasque gem with a limited series, the Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Special Edition ‘Boutique Monaco’ edited and numbered in just 30 pieces, flying high the colors of the Principality. Its 45 mm-diameter satin-finished and polished titanium case protects the hour and minute hands as well as two bi-compax-positioned counters nestling in openworked architecture. White SuperLuminova®-coated time data is encircled by a red flange for optimal clarity. The centrally-set direct-drive also boasts these two colors.
The Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Special Edition ‘Boutique Monaco’ is driven by an automatic skeleton caliber, set at 28,800 vibrations an hour. The HUB1155 assembled with some 207 components delivers a minimum power reserve of 42 hours once fully wound. In addition to measuring short-cycle time, it also breathes life into a date displayed at 6 o’clock.
This timepiece is complemented by a strap flaunting the same colors as the ones center staging the case. It exhibits a red calfskin topside and an underside fashioned in white rubber. The ensemble is attached by a folding clasp ensuring secure, comfortable wear. This edition is exclusively on sale in the Monte Carlo boutique.
